What began in 2011 as a heartfelt fundraiser by 14 friends for their beloved Weert-Jan Weerts has since grown into a major event. It unites the city in a shared mission to fight this devastating nerve-muscle disease. With registrations now open, this inspiring swim continues to raise vital funds for scientific research and to enhance the quality of life for those living with ALS.
