On Sunday, June 14, you’ll find the traveling Pure Market from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the green Amstelpark. This market changes locations every two weeks and this time fills the former Floriade park with artisanal entrepreneurs. Admission is completely free, and you’ll find a delightful mix of 70% food and drink and 30% unique creative and artisanal products. The grand reopening of the historic ARTIS Aquarium
After a massive five-year restoration, the legendary ARTIS Aquarium will finally reopen its doors on Saturday, June 13. Please note: the official opening day is already fully booked, but starting Sunday, June 14, you can visit this renovated underwater wonder with a regular ARTIS park ticket.
In this national monument from 1882, one of the oldest working aquariums in the world, the world of water takes center stage. The colorful and queer-friendly Tropikali festival at the NDSM shipyard is completely sold out this weekend. Fortunately, there’s good news for everyone who couldn’t get a ticket or doesn’t want to head home just yet: as soon as the sun goes down, the party moves to Parallel (Tolhuistuin) for the official afterparty.
Located right by the ferry from Amsterdam Central Station, you can enjoy a tropical atmosphere here until the wee hours, with music ranging from Latin America to the Balkans. This nighttime edition is hosted by none other than Miss Khristo from Drag Race España, featuring electrifying sets by DJs Miss Tekna, Tomas Chiesa, and Dimitri Tenot.
