The rumors were true: pop icon Madonna will officially perform in the capital this weekend during WorldPride 2026.
The singer has already been causing a stir online in recent days with mysterious posts on her Instagram Story. Among other things, she shared the Dutch phrases “I have something I want to talk about” —a direct reference to her single “Bring Your Love” —and “Everyone here is a work of art.”
Madonna Spectacle at AFAS Live
The performance coincides exactly with the world-famous Canal Parade, which draws hundreds of thousands of visitors to Amsterdam’s canals on Saturday. Madonna shares the stage at AFAS Live with, among others, DJ Honey Dijon and her longtime producer Stuart Price. The show is centered around her recently released fifteenth studio album , *Confessions II*, a tribute to queer and club culture.
Whether the global superstar will also make an appearance on one of the boats during the Canal Parade on Saturday remains a secret for now, according to the organizers.
Historic WorldPride edition

Madonna’s appearance is one of the highlights of WorldPride 2026. This year, Amsterdam is the center of the international queer community, exactly 25 years after the Netherlands became the first country in the world to legalize same-sex marriage. A long digital waiting list has already formed for the World Pride Music Festival .
