Potterheads may still not be over the iconic film series coming to an end, even if it was more than 10 years ago, but the Fantastic Beasts franchise has more than scratched that itch.
This time, fans of both will delight; as the latest offering takes us back into the magical world of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Back in December, we were greeted with the last trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore, giving us a first look at Mads Mikkelsen in the role of Gellert Grindelwald. Now, just over a month before its slated release on April 6, we have a brand new look at the movie. Watch it below.
Potter fans will also once again delight in seeing Jude Law playing his role as a young Albus Dumbledore, where he calls on the help of Eddie Redmayne’s Newt Scamander to help prevent war in the restless world of wizardry. Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler and Jessica Williams also feature across the cast. Quite the star-studded lineup, we must say.
Despite prior delays to its release, the movie will now be shown in cinemas from April, as opposed to July which it had previously been set for. You can also view the first trailer for the movie here.
David Yates, who also directed the final four installments of the Harry Potter movies, will again be at the helm of Fantastic Beasts – which takes place several decades before the former series of films. It follows Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) and The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018).
Catch Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore in the Netherlands’ cinemas from April 6, 2022.
