On warm summer evenings in Amsterdam, sound takes on a different quality… It’s lighter, longer, and just a little bit magical. At Muziekgebouw , the music floats across the water from the terrace, inviting you to eat, drink, and lose track of time. This isn’t just any stage—it’s a summer ritual on the IJ! Here is the full program for this summer’s Terrace Concerts.
The Muziekgebouw Terrace Concerts: a soundtrack for the season
Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for five weekends in July and August, the Muziekgebouw transforms its panoramic waterfront terrace into a living canvas of music and movement. Imagine twilight over the IJ , with a drink in hand and live performances spanning continents and centuries. From daring young talents to groundbreaking ensembles: these concerts are more than just events. They are atmospheric journeys, underscored by culinary delights, carefully curated soundtracks by DJs, and an unbeatable front-row seat to the sunset. Whether you opt for a relaxed drink or a two-course meal, every evening (or afternoon) unfolds like an album with the perfect tempo.
