What can you expect from the ENTR VR Museum?

You step into the Amsterdam of 1652 and explore the city together as if you really lived there. You’re not just watching from a distance—you become part of daily life. As you walk through the streets, you discover how people worked, traded, and shaped the city. You cross Dam Square, where the Waag once stood, walk along the bustling IJ where ships from all over the world arrived, and step inside printing houses that produced books for Europe.
In this interactive VR experience, you’ll follow three city residents: a whaler, a printer, and a craftsman. Their stories unfold as their lives intersect during a major fire on Dam Square. At that moment, you’ll decide which path to take: that of opportunity or that of limitation.
Historians and archival research shape every detail of the experience. From the sounds of the harbor to the colors of the pigments, everything evokes the atmosphere of 17th-century Amsterdam.
New dimensions of cultural engagement

Each visitor moves at their own pace, creating a personal journey through the same shared story. See, listen, touch, and experience history from your own perspective—and create your own unique interpretation of it. A new approach to cultural engagement that is both meaningful and immersive.
