A Sandy City Beach Has Just Opened In Amsterdam And It’s Huge • Stadstrand De Hallen

Perfect for July’s sunny weather forecast!

Grab your sunglasses and prepare to relax with your feet in the sand at this new city beach in Oud-West because there’s seriously enough room here for everyone. This sprawling, sandy paradise is set to be super-popular over the summer, with amazing summery vibes, plenty of sand to play in, and deck chairs to lounge around in.

This fantastic new summer spot has been designed by some well-known businesses in Amsterdam – Kanarie Club, Foodhallen, Filmhallen, and De Hallen Amsterdam. So, you can expect amazing food, flicks, and drinks all rolled into one!

In fact, from July 1 there will be weekly film screenings on Thursdays, brought to you on a huge screen in the indoor part of the bar. You can expect to watch some brilliant Dutch cinema, like Meskina (2021) and De Libi (2019), and you can buy tickets for the film screenings on the website.

Plus, we’re hoping that last week’s boozy bottomless brunch will become a weekly thing so that we can scoff those sharing plates whilst sipping homemade lemonade and vodka mixers because Sundays are for brunching. You can find this exciting new beach bar at 51 Bellamy Square, 1053 AT and it’s open every day from 10 am until 10 pm.
