This selection includes a night of movie soundtracks reminiscent of childhood movie nights, only bathed in the light of countless candles and played live by talented musicians. Then there are classical concerts featuring the works of Beethoven and Chopin, to name just two artists. Plus, Candlelight: Ballet, featuring Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker and even a magical movie soundtracks evening. KIT Royal Tropical Institute
The Royal Tropical Institute (Koninklijk Institute voor de Tropen) is an incredible building, the purpose of which is to host events supporting sustainable and inclusive societies around the world. It was built in a neo-renaissance style, decked in beautiful marble, and opened by Queen Wilhemina in 1926. The large, open rooms with amazing wooden beams which run along the ceilings are perfect for a night of acoustic magic amongst a sea of flickering candles.

National Maritime Museum
The National Maritime Museum (Scheepvaartmuseum) is one of the most beautiful buildings in Amsterdam dating back to 1656. Packed with relics and remnants of Dutch maritime history, this huge buildings sits gracefully on the waterfront in the centre of Amsterdam.
