RUMBLE breathes new life into the classic back-to-back set by pitting two top international DJs directly against each other in a specially designed boxing ring. Inspired by the iconic musical battle between Fatboy Slim and Armand van Helden in 1999, this event fuses the showmanship of combat sports with the energy of a large-scale dance event.
No physical blows, but a musical duel in which every track counts as a well-aimed punch. With the stage right in the middle of the venue, you as the audience are right in the thick of the action and can feel the tension up close.
From warm-up to knockout: how the musical battle works
The battle follows a tight structure in which the tension keeps building. Both DJs start with a 45-minute solo set to get the crowd fired up and showcase their own sound. As soon as the atmosphere reaches a fever pitch, the finale begins: a thrilling 60-minute showdown in which the artists battle it out track by track in a lightning-fast tune-for-tune confrontation.
