With most of the restrictions in the Netherlands disappearing on February 25, there will be plenty more opportunities to do and see things around the city. We’ll be able to visit clubs until the early hours of the morning and receive as many visitors as we’d like to at home, and, excitingly, the skating rink on Rembrandtplein is reopening!
Every year the ice rink on Rembrandtplein opens to the public, but in November of last year, it wasn’t able to open due to the coronavirus restrictions. However, next week on February 24 the rink will open once again, and it’s a fantastic place to skate.
They’ve already started building the little chalets and the square is surrounded by restaurants, so there are plenty of places to go once you’ve worked up an appetite skating. It will be open until the end of March and entry is usually around €7.50, with skate hire included.
