Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Servings: 2
Ingredients
- 2 shots of espresso coffee
- 2 cups of milk (feel free to use the milk of your choice, but preferably one that froths well)
- 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup (or sugar, if you don’t have it)
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- Optional: whipped cream for a real treat!
For the pumpkin spice (for 8 servings):
- 2 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon of nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon of ground cloves
- ½ teaspoon of allspice
The recipe
For the pumpkin spice:
- In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and allspice.
For the latte:
- Heat the milk and pumpkin puree. Start by pouring the milk, pumpkin puree and maple syrup (or sugar) into a small pot and heat over medium-low heat until it is hot and almost simmering. Do not boil it. Remove from the heat.
- Make your espresso coffees.
- Mix. Pour the coffees, vanilla extract, and ½ teaspoon of pumpkin spice in the milk pot. Mix, taste and adjust with more sugar (or maple syrup) or spice mix.
- Divide the mixture into 2 mugs.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with some pumpkin spices!
Enjoy without moderation!
