Tonight (January 25) PM Rutte held a long-awaited press conference to announce an easing of restrictions, which will begin tomorrow (January 26).
Lockdown is no more.
Catering can reopen from tomorrow, so you’ll be able to visit restaurants, cafes and bars! You’ll need a Coronapas to get into a lot of place in the capital though. On March 8 the current measures will be reassessed, but until then it’s safe to assume that you should wear a face mask when you’re inside of a venue. Additionally, everything will close at 10 pm. Theme parks and zoo will also be allowed to open.
Some things haven’t changed.
Nightclubs will remain closed for the time being and supermarkets will close at 10 pm. You can watch outdoor events but only at 1/3 of the pre-covid capacity. Again, everything will be reassessed on March 8, when we can expect to hear more from the Prime Minister.
