Just 40 minutes in the car from Amsterdam there’s an Alpaca Eco Farm and if you’re an animal lover then you seriously need to visit! This place offers the most incredible packages that make for wholesome and super-fun events.
You can feed and pet cute alpacas at this Alpaca Eco Farm!
It’s perfect for a family day out, or even a date because who wants a candlelit dinner when there are literal alpacas there, just waiting to be fed and stroked? They all have individual names and personalities and honestly, we wanna make friends with each and every one of them.
These lovely, South American animals all have Spanish names, including Carlos, Nacho, Don Juan and Chico. Bob and Ziggy Marley are the odd ones out and look quite the characters.
High tea and high soup with the alpacas
So what’s all this about eating high tea with the alpacas, we hear you ask. Yeah, you read that right.
You can indulge in some delicious cakes and sandwiches surrounded by these beauties at the Alpaca Eco Farm. It costs €37.50 per person for an hour and a half of munching on delicious food and watching the alpacas do that funny thing they do when they eat. You know, that kinda side to side chewing.
They just kinda lounge around whilst you eat and don’t expect subpar food. On the contrary, this place serves quality. We’re talking delicious macarons and tasty wraps, here!
High tea not your kinda thing? You can also enjoy soup with all the alpacas and honestly, it sounds like heaven. Of course, there are vegetarian options on offer for each experience so just let them know your dietary requirements when you book.
There are also feed & greet sessions
Everything takes place in a heated greenhouse, so you can be sure that the alpacas are gunna want to come and hang out with you all. Plus, if you’re really just interested in interacting with them then you can pay €12.50 to join a feed and greet session.
You can even go for a little walk for them if you’d like, and you can check out all of the options available on the website. Since it’s summer, you could pair this with a little trip to Egmond aan Zee for a bit of sea air and a thoroughly incredible day out!
