The iconic Zandvoort circuit The Dutch Grand Prix has long held a special place in the history of motorsport. The Zandvoort Formula 1 circuit, which first opened in 1948, remains one of the sport’s most iconic and picturesque venues. Nestled among the coastal dunes, right on the beach and just 30 minutes from Amsterdam, the 4.259-km circuit offers spectacular races and unforgettable views.

The circuit was modernized for the long-awaited return of Formula 1 in 2021, following a long hiatus since the 1980s. One of the most notable changes is the famous Tarzan Corner, which now features an impressive 18-degree banking—even steeper than that of Indianapolis. Despite these changes, Zandvoort has retained its original character and remains one of the most demanding and exciting circuits on the calendar.
