City beaches are incredibly popular right now, and more and more are popping up all over the world. We have a few here in Amsterdam, and we’re also lucky enough to have our own coastline, so there are countless great beach bars to choose from, and these are our six favorites:

1. Pink Beach
From palm trees to gorgeous, soft pink sand and lounge chairs: this place is an absolute dream come true. It’s no ordinary beach bar, because everything is pink! From the bar to the booths and even some of the food; you can expect pink, pink, and more pink! 📍Location: Motorkade 8B, 1021 JR
2. Pllek
Pllek is one of the coolest spots in Amsterdam, and the outdoor area is fantastic. They serve really delicious vegan food, and you can enjoy it by the water, which is a calming and pleasant experience. 3. Noorderlicht
This lovely café serves sustainably produced food, and the terrace is huge. Plus, the view of the water from the terrace is breathtakingly beautiful. It’s definitely one of the best beach bars in Amsterdam. Visit their website to check out the menu. 📍Location: NDSM plein 102, 1033 WB
4. Strand Zuid
Strand Zuid is perhaps the most chic beach bar on this list, with beautiful, comfortable lounge chairs and plenty of delicious drinks to sip on. 5. Paal 69
This beach bar is truly spectacular. You’ll find it on the beautiful beach of Zandvoort, and not only is there a beach bar where you can enjoy delicious cocktails, but there are also food trucks that regularly visit the beach bar. There are events almost constantly, including candlelit concerts that illuminate the beach with hundreds of candles while talented artists pay tribute to popular musicians and composers. 📍Location: Zuidstrand 3, 2042 AG Zandvoort
