Heighten your senses this Halloween by Dining In The Dark.
There’s no better time for mystery than Halloween, and this year Fever is ready to bring Amsterdammers the ultimate enigmatic experience. On Wednesday, October 27 the stunning Mercure Amsterdam City restaurant will be hosting an incredible meal with one catch – you won’t be able to see it!
Studies suggest that depriving yourself of your sight when eating heightens other senses such as your senses of smell, touch and taste, and there’s no better way to test your tastebuds than to eat in darkness. It’s going to be an incredible gastronomic adventure and attendees can choose between vegetarian, seafood, and meat menus, so everyone can enjoy themselves.
Assistants will be on hand to serve you, wearing night goggles so that they can guide you to your table and place tasty dishes in front of you, ready to be devoured. There will be no awkward Halloween party moments where people ponder over whether or not to wear a costume, because you won’t be able to see one another!
So, who’s sitting on the other side of the room? Could it be a werewolf, or perhaps a mummy? Let your imagination go wild as you chow down on… something. Perhaps you’ll be able to discern between the flavours and figure out what’s in the dishes. After all, they have been designed to be full of potent flavours, sure peak your interests and test your palette.
So what are you waiting for? Tickets are expected to sell out quick, so reserve your seat swiftly and get ready for the Halloween experience of a lifetime!
