The Pink Paradise Serving Cheesecake Lattes And Dreamy Bakes • Lucy’s Cheesecakes

It’s the perfect spot for a catch-up with friends over cake.

Just around the corner from Dam Square you’ll find Lucy’s Cheesecakes, but don’t be fooled by its central location – this place is not a tourist trap. With delicious bakes and reasonable prices, it’s a great place to stop when you’re out and about in the city and you just fancy a sit down with some quality coffee and homemade cake.

As you step beyond the white facade into a world of pink, you’ll find the cutest little cafe with stunning decor and friendly staff. Behind the glass counter there are tons of amazing bakes just waiting to be picked out and gobbled up, and there are vegan options available too, so everyone can enjoy a slice of heaven here.

Obviously, the star of the show here is the cheesecake, with a variety to choose from, whether you’re after a slice of the (vegan) salted caramel, prefer the white chocolate variety or want to savour the taste of a classic New York cheesecake. Plus, there are loads of other options to choose from too. The sumptuous chocolate cake is gluten-free and if like me, you’re addicted to Dutch apple cake then you won’t be disappointed here.

From €3.50-€4.50 a slice, a visit to Lucy’s Cheesecakes isn’t going to break the bank, and the quality is far superior to the chain restaurants and bakeries that we have so many of in the city. If you can’t get enough of these cakes then you can always order a whole one to share with friends or family (or to eat by yourself).

You can wash all of that deliciousness down with an equally delicious drink. This cafe is known for its signature pink rose latte, made with my personal favourite tea – Kashmiri pink tea. However, there’s a huge variety of drinks to choose from on the menu and in the hotter months, you can refresh yourself with an irresistible cheesecake iced coffee. You can find Lucy’s Cheesecake at Rokin 8, 1012 KR and the bakery is open from 11 am – 7 pm, Monday to Sunday.
