There is nothing more magical than Zandvoort Beach at sunset, is there? Well, a candlelight concert can make any experience more spectacular and on August 6 and 21 you can watch a talented string quartet perform Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with your feet in the sand, surrounded by flickering candles.
Originally, only one concert date was planned at Zandvoort Beach but due to popular demand you can now see this incredible concert on August 21 too! So, if you miss the first date then you should definitely make sure you check out the second!
That’s right, this beautiful candlelight concert will take place on the actual beach at Paal 69 and as guests take their seats at 9.30 pm the sun will begin to set. This gorgeous venue sits between the sea and the dunes, so as you watch the performance the sea will be gently lapping at the sand and deer will be nibbling at the grassy dunes above.

If the weather is bad then the concert will be rescheduled, but as it stands temperatures are supposed to reach a balmy 23°C during the day and stay fairly warm in the evening. You’ll hear a selection of movements from the four concertos: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter and this is the first time a candlelight concert has ever been performed in this beautiful beach location.
As hundreds of candles twinkle in the waning sunlight and the moon begins to shine over Zandvoort a truly unique experience will come to life and you don’t want to miss it! Grab your tickets here.
