What can you expect from the ENTR VR museum?

You step into Amsterdam in 1652 and explore the city together as if you truly live there. You don’t observe from a distance—you become part of daily life. As you move through the streets, you discover how people worked, traded, and shaped the city. You cross Dam Square, where the Waag once stood, walk along the busy IJ where ships arrived from all over the world, and enter printing houses that produced books for Europe.
In this interactive VR experience, you follow three city residents: a whaler, a printer, and an artisan. Their stories unfold as their lives intersect during a major fire on Dam Square. At that moment, you decide which path to follow—one of opportunity or one of limitation.
Historians and archival research shape every detail of the experience. From harbour sounds to the colours of pigment, everything recreates the atmosphere of 17th-century Amsterdam.
